My passion for machine knitting ignited when my spouse gifted me a Singer SK313 for Valentine’s day. Serendipitously, there was a weekend-long machine knitting class at the North House Folk school in Grand Marais, Minnesota the very next month. I learned the basics and it lit a fire under me.

Early on, I was disappointed with the lack of machine knit patterns for beginners. Naturally the solution was to design my own and share them with the world.
 
My hope is to share the joy of making with curiosity and fearlessness. I'm here to show the world that machine knitting is not cheating.
